Jacket of the Week

THE CYNTHIA WAISTCOAT - £195.00
Made with a truly exquisite fabric insert that I found in a pile of off cuts. Apparently it should have been £50.00 a meter, and I can believe that was true. The body of this waistcoat is a mid blue denim. With White topstitching detail and military style buttons this a versatile piece for the warmer weather. Wear with your favourite blue jeans and a an off white or navy tee!

THE HOPE JACKET - £175.00
Quite often the Jacket of the Week is made from an up-cycled Kantha quilt from India. These stunning jackets are a real statement piece and extremely popular! Because each jacket is made from old saris, no two quilts are the same.
Whilst the jacket is unlined, it is 'backed' with a cotton muslin giving it a slight padded feel and a lovely drape. This jacket is available in teals and blues in the shop.

THE JACKIE JACKET - £275.00
This jacket is made from a pale grey denim that is lighter weight than my normal denims. It has a smoother texture than denim and many people don't even know it's denim! I used the reverse of the denim for the side panel to add further interest. The frill around the collar is made from white linen and the roses are made from the denim and linen. This jacket was finished with some hand seed stitching. Dressier than my normal style this is ideal for a day a races, or even a wedding!
