The Rose Coat is made from an 8oz mid blue denim and it has a little stretch. This coat is unlined making it perfect for the summer months.
The bodice features a wonderfully dramatic frilled collar made from Indian Block Printed Cotton. It also features decorative fabric roses which are hand made in the same denim as the coat and the same block print cotton as the collar. There are also some white linen roses. The bodice is finished with some hand embroidery in white japenese thread.
The skirt is circular making it very full and it is longer at the back than at the front.
There are no pockets in this coat as I have found that putting pockets into a circular skirt spoils the 'line' of the jacket skirt.
It fastens with two military style buttons. 
Like all my jackets and coats this can be hand washed in cold water or dry cleaned if you prefer.
